While Las Vegas is well known for roulette and blackjack, at the end of the day some of us want to take some time to ourselves and relax, get pampered, or even have a good workout to burn off some of the adult beverages we indulged in earlier.
If you are looking for other activities to do in Vegas which no not including rolling the dice, check out some of the healthy options below.
Spas
If you are looking for world-class spas in Las Vegas, then you are going to want to hit the Las Vegas strip. The Aria spa has over 80,000 square feet dedicated to serving your every need. You don’t need to indulge in a treatment to take advantage of this one as full-day passes are just $30.
The QUA Baths and Spa at Caesars Palace brings the bathing rituals of Ancient Rome to modern day Las Vegas with social mineral pools with cascading waterfalls and varying temperatures. Their hot and cold therapy sessions are also a huge draw. You start in the Laconium Room with an “ultra-heat therapy session” and then move on to the Artic Ice Room where you cool down under a snowflake shower.
One of the Strip’s smallest spas is probably the most gorgeous out the lot. The Vdara Spa is setup to wow you from the moment you enter. Starting with a white marble changing room and then moving on to rooms accented with cherry-hued wood, this spa has one of the most boutique looks out of all the strip. This spa is also one of the first to enter into the Green Spa Network and their treatments reflect this as you’ll receive a holistic treatment derived from fruits, vegetables, flowers, and organic herbs.
Gyms
If you are looking for a gym to conduct your daily workouts in Vegas, you have numerous options both in and out the casino scene. The Wynn Las Vegas has one of the best gyms in the city. Every cardio machine in this gym is equipped with a TV for personal viewing. You can also expect to find the most modern workout equipment here as well.
Green Valley Ranch’s gym is very similar to the Wynn in regards to quality but with a huge perk to guests. The use of the gym is free to guests staying at the hotel and has more machines than most anyone will ever be able to use. Most of the cardio machines have a great view from the large patio windows and each machine is equipped with their own TV.
If by chance you are going to be in Vegas for an extended period of time, you will want to skip the casino gyms and get you a membership at the Las Vegas Athletic Club. If you ask most of the locals who work out where they work out at, most will tell you the LVAC. They have multiple locations in the city, have the best in workout equipment, and memberships are only $22 a month.
