Week 2 and it’s time to shave off those love handles.. aka, the obliques!
So, I have been charting my progress thus far.. bearing in mind that it’s been only 7 days since I started adding ActivEMS, twice a week (for 20 minutes) to my weekly routine of exercise.
No pain no gain. We have up-ed the intensity of the pulse from 60% to 73% this week, and my gosh, it’s really starting to burn!
Here are the results so far. Since I’ve never been a fat person, you can’t really see the inches falling off my body. But you definitely can see more cuts and definition in my abs and legs. I also aim to get my biceps to have those optimum cuts that I crave!
Point to note : waist/Abs is measured from the belly button round, and not at the smallest point – this is to ensure the same point is measured each time.
Chest is measured from above, or minus the boobs. Yeah., my chest is not that small.. I hear ya:P
So.. watch this space for improvement! 🙂 My wee mouse… haha.. You will have more definition soon!Â

What new form of torture is this? (I’m only kidding). These pads are slipped into your suit at your obliques, so that the intensity of the electric pulse is increased..
 come, come… resistance is futile!Â

The dreaded Sumo Squats.. My motto these days, is “Grin and Bear it.. !”
20 minutes, and I’m sweating (and swearing) like a pig. Just by adding 10 degrees of intensity and I’m using every swear word in my vocab, in multiple languages too. Wow, by 19 minutes I can’t wait to get out of the suit.
The sensation is such that when the pulse comes at intervals, there is a force that knocks the air out of your lungs, and you work at an increased capacity, and you need to double your effort just to stay centered. That’s why I have to clasp my hands together (no, I’m not praying for deliverance, though the thought did cross my mind!) and brace my core at all times, so that the current does not numb my fingers or knock the wind out of me.
And just incase you though you could “curi ayam”, there is a card with all your particulars on it, and each time you go for a session, they make sure it’s harder than the last. Ooo… bring it! 🙂
yah, nice body, but I can see from week 3 the result are even better! worth Rm2000 i think..

Oh please.. 20 minutes only la at a time. Don’t tell me you can’t do that. Takes you as much time to finish a bag of chips and the damage is exponential. waste of money? better that, than one foot in the grave and digging fast, sorry!
