Friday is all about the fat burning, in preparation for the weekend of eating and drinking!
Here’s a great HIIT sequence I like to throw in after a 40 minute run around the park at tempo pace.
If you are in the park, there should be ample stairs for you to work this :
8 sets X relay stair work – run up and down the stairs at top speed, for 8 sets
3 sets X 20 reps sumo squats – do this with a partner for added fun and you can encourage each other to do more. Also check each other’s form that you are actually doing a deep squat
Finish off with lunge mountain climbers till muscle failure.
