3 Exercises to get the Perfect Butt

After giving birth one of the things that headed south, was my butt!

So, in order to give my husband something nice to look at, I decided to take matters into my own hands and do these exercises every single day, twice a day, till I got back my round butt.

It worked!

Here they are…

1. FIRE HYDRANTS
You know why they call this the fire hydrant? Ever seen a dog pee at the hydrant? There you go! haha

Start on all fours, hands shoulder-width apart and knees hip-width apart. Keeping your knee bent, open your left leg out to the side until your inner thigh is parallel with with the floor. Squeeze your glutes and your abs and return to the starting position with your knee slightly off the floor. (Do not rest your knee on the floor when returning to the starting position)

2. SQUAT PULSES

They don’t call this the squat pulses for nothing. Imagine how handy these would come, in the bedroom (oo-er!)
Begin standing with your legs wider than shoulder width apart, feet turned out, and your arms straight out in front of you. Squat down and keep your knees in line with your toes, squeeze your abs tight, and keep your back straight. (Tip: stick your chest and your butt out while squatting) Stay in squat position and pulse up and down, raising and lowering your butt six inches (haha!) or so each time. Pulse 20 times before relaxing and standing. The trick is to stay in squat position until the end and make sure you don’t stand up until you’re finished.

3. GLUTE KICKBACKS

Picture a string tied to your foot, to the ceiling.
Start on all fours, hands shoulder-width apart and knees hip-width apart. Keeping your right leg bent, raise your left leg and press your heel toward the ceiling until your foot is directly above your butt. Squeeze your glutes while doing this motion and slowly return to starting position but make sure to keep your knee off the ground.
