Tri-colour pasta served with tuna, red and yellow capsicum, oyster mushrooms, and red onion, tossed with a mustardy lemon vinaigrette.
aprox. 505 kcal RM12.90
While pasta may get a bad rap for being high in calories, it is important to understand that most of the time it is the sauce and meats that accompany the pasta that makes it a heavy dish. Pasta is actually low on the glycemic index which means it takes a long time for the body to break it down and absorb it. This means you feel fuller for longer and so it can be used as a great tool to lose weight. The trick here is portion control, eat too much pasta and you’re sliding down a slippery slope. At Lunch2U we ensure that your portion of pasta is just right. The Pasta Pasta has the addition of tuna(Read skinny spicy tuna for detailed info on tuna benefits), oyster mushrooms, and bell peppers mixed in. Oyster mushrooms contain ergothioneine which is a unique antioxidant that protects cells in the body. They are also high in Zinc, Iron, Potassium, Calcium, Phosphorus, Vitamin C, Folic Acid, Niacin, and Vitamins B1 and B2. Bell peppers help in curing many diseases that include lowering blood pressure, reducing cholesterol and warding off strokes and heart attacks, and speeding up metabolism.
